The Ensemble Men in The Living Christmas Tree

These are all the guys that sang in ensembles in The Living Christmas Tree this year. They all did a wonderful job, and they looked so handsome. I'm especially fond of the cutie in the front row, 3rd from the left! ;-)

Perfume Shop in Bethlehem

This is a good friend from church, Heather. She worked in the perfume shop in Bethlehem. She looks so beautiful in this picture. I used a midnight color effect for this photo.

Blake & Casey Potter

I am trying out some new actions I found for Elements. They are really cool and will take my photography to that next level. I love this picture of Blake with his ear on Casey's belly. They had their baby last week, and he's just as cute as his Daddy. Congratulations Blake and Casey! I'll get these pictures to you soon. :-)

The Bazaar in Bethlehem

I took lots of pictures at Bethlehem in Bartlesville this year, so it's going to take me some time to get them all adjusted and uploaded. This is just one of some beads in the bazaar. There were so many beautiful things there!

Santa

The kids all got to visit Santa last week here in Dewey at the Arvest Bank. Carson's class went first and then Katelyn's class went later in the day.

Carson asked Santa for a Blue Towmater that talks. Santa had some advice for Carson (with the prompt from Mrs. Wilson). "Be a good boy and try real hard to get your work done at school." Carson just looked at him and nodded.

Ainsley asked Santa for a Baby Chou Chou and a stroller. She was a little nervous about Santa and didn't want to sit on his lap at first, but when she saw her brothers do it she thought she'd give it a try.

Hayden doesn't really have a wish list for Santa, but we know he loves choo-choos, cars and dudes (little action figures). He sat on Santa's lap, but as you can see from the picture he wasn't too sure about it.

Katelyn loved visiting Santa, of course. Her wish list is a hot pink karaoke machine with two microphones so she and Ainsley can sing together. A girl's got to be specific, right?

Our Little Girl is 8!

Katelyn had a busy birthday weekend, but we still made it special for her. She opened presents on Saturday when her Meema and Papa came to town, then again on Sunday when we took her to Oriental Pearl with the Veits and the Davidsons, then one more time Monday morning before school. She received a candy bouquet from Nana and Pops that was delivered at school Monday. When I picked her up she came running out with the bouquet and balloon and a huge smile on her face! We took her to dinner at Mazzio's Monday night and her official birthday cake was her favorite... cheesecake! She had a great birthday this year. We probably spoiled her a little with all the gifts, but she's worth it. She chose not to have an official birthday party, so we spent that money on a bigger gift for her... a Disney Mix-Stick. She was very greatful for all the gifts she received.

Proof for James that Joe really is trying to work

A few more snow pics

Hayden and Ainsley playing on the matresses

Playing with Daddy in the snow is so fun!

And we have a Snow Day!

Our electricity went our last night around 7:00pm, so we brought all the matresses and Hayden's crib into the living room so we could sleep near the fireplace. After we got everyone settled and the kids were almost asleep we heard the TV and CD player come on. We decided since we were already settled in that we'd just spend the night in the living room. The kids loved it.

They were so excited to get out in the snow this morning. I love how the snow sparkles as the sunlight hits it. It's just beautiful. The weather guy says we got anywhere from 15-20 inches. It's a real dry powdery kind of snow, so Katelyn was a little disappointed that she couldn't build a snowman.

Snow Day

The kids all went outside for about 10 minutes today. I couldn't hold them off any longer. Katelyn dressed and redressed everyone about 3 different times today with high hopes of going out to make snow angels. She was the first one to say, "Can we come in?" Here are a few pictures of their brief, but enjoyable time in the snow (or should I say blizzard?). I just talked to Joe on the phone and he is stuck in his parking lot at work. I have tried all day to convince him to come home before it gets too bad up here, but he didn't. :-)
